Raesch Quarz (Malta) Ltd.  is a quartz fabrication facility established in Malta in 1997.  

Malta is an attractive production location due to its skilled bi-lingual workforce and its competitive labour costs.  It is one short haul flight away from all the major European cities.  The business culture in Malta is highly internationalized, especially since Malta joined the European Union in 2004 and adopted the Euro in 2008.  

The company has always been German-owned and since 2012 operates as part of the stocklisted Hoenle Group of companies headquartered in Germany. It currently employs about 50 people, most of whom have been with the company for over 15 years.  

As a Fabricator, Raesch Quarz (Malta) Ltd processes quartz glass tubes, rods and plates.  For example, lamp bulbs or UV lamp bodies are produced from quartz glass tubes. In addition, we manufacture complex quartz glass products, so-called fabricated components, and quartz glass plates with the help of semi or fully automated processing machines.  We are able to respond quickly and flexibly to small series and mass production. If requested, glassblowers refine our products or process them in manual and mechanical processing steps to the finished end product. We always pay attention to the highest degree of precision and purity.

Our customers come from the areas of glass fibre production, wafer production, the semiconductor industry or water treatment or are manufacturers of special lamps.

The company is ISO9001:2015 certified and has years of experience in supplying fabricated quartz glass components to customers world-wide.  It is geared to provide on-location customer support in English, German and Italian, including supply-chain optimization through multi-modal transportation arrangements to expedite deliveries in collaboration with leading transport companies worldwide.
